Feeling Grateful and Thank You
I feel compelled to write this post to express my deep gratitude to all of you out there who visit this little blog of mine. I cannot say thank you enough for those of you who visit, share your thoughts and offer support. I’ve heard countless stories from folks who’ve read my words here and were inspired to share about their lives: your homesteading dreams, memories of a childhood spent on a farm, current trials and tribulations of homesteading. When I wrote this post about some challenges we were facing on our homestead, I was blown away by the supportive responses we received.
I feel blessed to have you join me in this space. To follow along in our adventures in homesteading. To offer words of encouragement when we’re feeling overwhelmed. To share advice from your own experiences. It is a beautiful thing. It brings tears to my eyes when I read stories of people inspired by words I have written here. I never in a million years expected this response. It blows me away sometimes when I think of how this little piece of technology I write on known as a laptop can help me share my life with millions of people around the world.
When I started this blog six months ago, I never imagined I would truly connect with people. I figured I would put my thoughts out there on the internet but never expected so many people to actually read it. And follow it. And subscribe to it. And send me messages with words of encouragement or personal stories. It is a beautiful thing and I feel so blessed. Thank you.
Thank you to every one of you who reads these words, shares your thoughts and joins in our community here on the internet. We may live in a rural area on our little homestead, but we have this amazing supportive community around the world. It is truly amazing.
Oddly enough I’m actually a bit of an introvert. I’m a homebody. I love to spend time at home. I enjoy solitude, or as much as a person can get when raising a toddler! Being able to connect with other people online has been so wonderful for me. Building this little community of folks has been a powerful experience. I am humbled. I am feeling grateful. Thank you to each and every one of you!
